Library Outreach

Our Library Outreach staff are out in the Ballarat community offering Storytime sessions, school holiday programs and programs for adults, including technology assistance and information sessions. Visit during the hours below to browse the collection, borrow and return items and pick up holds.

Locations and opening hours

Lucas

Tuesdays 10am–12pm


Wriggle and Rhyme Tuesdays during school term, 10.30am

Accessibility:

  • Accessible toilets
  • Baby change facility
  • Accessible entries, with automatic doors, at the front and rear of the building
  • Accessible parking available at the rear carpark via Eleanor Drive

Buninyong

Thursdays 2pm–5pm

Buninyong Community House
407 Warrenheip Street

Accessibility:

  • All abilities access is available via rear entrance and carpark from Union Street

Children’s programs

Ballarat Libraries run Storytime sessions at locations across Ballarat, including at Lucas Community Hub, Wendouree Neighbourhood Centre, the Eureka Centre and Djila-tjarriu Community Hub.
