Baby Bounce

Baby Bounce Storytimes are gentle sessions of song, music, rhyme and storytelling, for babies and their families. Meet other parents and carers, and help foster a love of reading, literacy, and language in your child from a young age.

Wriggle and Rhyme

Sing, dance, and play, at Wriggle and Rhyme Storytimes. These fun-filled sessions for toddlers will get the whole family up and moving with a mix of stories, songs, rhythm, and movement.

Family Storytime

Family Storytime is an opportunity for your child to discover the world of books and develop a love of reading, while connecting with other families in your community. Filled with stories and rhymes, children will enjoy these fun and engaging sessions.

Little Languages

Where will we travel to this week? Open your magical suitcase and travel to a different country and culture each session, learning and sharing through story, song, and dance. This family-based Storytime celebrates inclusion and diversity in a fun and accessible way.

Little Languages – Harmony Week  Friday 21 March, 10.30am Djila-tjarriu Community Hub – 18 Donegal Drive, Alfredton Join us for a Parade of Nations to celebrate Harmony Week, at Little Languages Storytime. You are invited to dress in clothing from your cultural background.

Stories in the Park

Let’s take our storytime outdoors! We’re teaming up with Parent Place to bring you stories, songs and nature-based play at the Djila-tjarriu playground. Did you know that Djila-tjarriu means ‘place of play’ in Wadawurrung language? Come and explore the new playground, listen to some stories, move and sing to some songs and have some fun playing in nature. 

Please wear weather appropriate clothing and sun protection.

Play & Sing with Coco Sounds

Enjoy singing songs from around the world and playing rhythms with your body in these engaging sessions. Suitable for children aged 1-5.

Parent Place

Enjoy free activities, a safe, inclusive place to play, and the opportunity to find out about services and support for families with young children, including kindergarten registration, playgroups and more.   

The Parent Place Facilitator will remain available during this time for any questions or support.
