Can I still use the Central Highlands Libraries website?
Yes. The Central Highlands Libraries website still functions as our library catalogue and can be used to search for items and to access your library account.
Can I still use the Libraries Victoria app?
Yes! The Libraries Victoria app is a great way to easily search our catalogue, manage your account, virtually store your library card and access our digital library.
How can I stay up-to-date with what’s happening at the library?

Extended opening hours at Ballarat Libraries
The Ballarat, Wendouree and Sebastopol Libraries, which are operated by the City of Ballarat, will commence new opening hours from Monday 2 February 2026. Additional weekend and evening hours will provide greater flexibility and access for residents.
