Collect your items 24/7 at our new Library Lockers

Our new library lockers increase availability of library services in Buninyong, Cardigan Village, Learmonth and Miners Rest. Library Lockers allow patrons to collect and return items at a time and place that suits them. We’ve installed four Library Lockers across the City of Ballarat:

Buninyong – Buninyong Foodworks Supermarket, 310 Learmonth Street, Buninyong VIC 3357

Cardigan Village – Cardigan Village Community Centre, 2 Mitchell Drive, Cardigan Village VIC 3352

Learmonth – Learmonth Community Skills Shed, 1 Laidlaw Street, Learmonth VIC 3352

Miners Rest – Miners Rest Community Hall, 8 Market Street, Miners Rest VIC 3352

To use the Library Locker, reserve your items online, select your Library Locker pickup location and receive a notification when your items are ready to collect.

Supported by more than $95,000 from the Victorian Government’s Living Libraries Infrastructure Program and an additional contribution of more than $47,000 from the City of Ballarat, the project provides modern library infrastructure designed to meet the evolving needs of the community.

The project fulfils a commitment in the City of Ballarat Libraries and Learning Strategy 2022-2027 to explore models that increase community access to library services. Have your say on the next library strategy now.
