Calling all poets and poetry-lovers, we’re hosting the Ballarat Heat of the Australian Poetry Slam 2024. Join the audience or challenge yourself to compete for your chance to represent Ballarat in the Victoria State Final!
All are welcome to hone their spoken word craft at the Wordshop workshop the night before the Heat, run by Rob Waters, 2023 Australian Poetry Slam Champion and K.J. Hayward, 2023 Australian Poetry Slam Co-Champion.
Wordshop: Friday 6 September, 6-8pm – Sebastopol Library
Ballarat Heat: Saturday 7 September, 1.30pm (Doors and poet sign up 1pm) – Sebastopol Library
