The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign is once again inviting the Ballarat community to use creativity as a tool for reflection, conversation and change.
Community members of all ages and artistic abilities are encouraged to create a 20cm x 20cm artwork responding to a simple but powerful question: What does respect mean to you?
Pre-cut artwork cards can be collected from Ballarat Library, Ballarat CASA and WRISC until 23 October, with submissions closing at 4pm on Friday 30 October.
Selected artworks will form an exhibition at Ballarat Library from 25 November to 10 December, showcasing a collection of community-created pieces that invite us to envision and help build a future where respect is lived, practised and protected.
Artworks will be displayed anonymously unless artists choose to be identified.
Find out more and submit your artwork online.
Alternatively, visit the Ballarat Library for a hardcopy submission form.
